Private traders: What system do you use to trade the markets?

If you trade futures, equities, FX: How to use the same trading system or a different system for different markets. Also, what is / are the trading system you use for each market: 1) you bought the platform, 2) put together yourself of existing indicators and techniques (ie, MACD, moving averages, Currency Rates, etc.), 3) developed entirely by itself through mathematical programming in a new proprietary system that no fishing for all the secrets of the Holy Grail trading system foolproof (if it exists). I just want a simple answer like: I trade using the point (2) using candle patterns and moving averages as end stops. Use to trade Currency. No need to know the time of its moving averages and mathematical formulas secret that you have programmed in TradeStation or MetaStock.
