What subwoofer is right for my '08 Ranger XLT?

I have a 2008 Ford Ranger XLT Extended Cab. I am a professional engineer, but I've never had experience with car audio. What I know is what subwoofer would be best for my truck without taking up a huge amount of space. I like to keep my two seets down on the back that open, but they also want a little more out of my system. Conditions: 1) I keep the computer from my mother (instrument panel) 2) I just want a woofer, that I'm an engineer kind of sound bites me in the queue, because they always have to have things that sounds perfect, and my version of shooting perfect is a little more to it), so I'm saying I do not want you hear me down the street from a mile away, but I want to add bass performance my system 3) I'm on a tight budget installation ideas are useful too. BS, if u just want a blow or a sub need 10 inches @ 300 watts with a matching amplifier. can be purchased on eBay for under 200. (Even a sub walamrt provides some bumps) but obviosly you get what u pay. but if you only want one or something better SQ add on but I would recommend the infinity kappa perfect, since they are a subset of the outdoors and do not require a box and are therefore can be installed anywhere you are in the form and then enclose sound even BTR. might even get an 8 'and put it in a barrel lower.
