real-time stock price?
I'm new to the stock market. I'm using a free game where I can find fake $ 100,000 when stock. Now my question is, the price of the stocks I see in that game is 20 minutes late (because they have to pay a premium for trading in real time). Is it Just as when you make real investment with someone like scottrade or someone like that? I have seen that yahoo, google, etc also give late trading. Also at the site with fake money, when i place the order to buy a stock that keeps my order 20 minutes before processing. Is it the same way in the real trade stock sites? Thanks in advance for the response Nick
Scottrade, in particular, offers real-time quotes, but not current, as far as I can see, you need to manually update the display has been sitting there for a while. You are also able to set limit orders and such, and everything is explained to his aid. I suspect other discount sites are similar.
